Terms

Last updated: June 2026

Placeholder. These terms summarise how Kit works and the commitments behind it. Final, legally-reviewed terms will replace this page before launch.

Not a medical or emergency service

Kit is for everyday reassurance — it is not a medical device and not an emergency service, and must not be relied upon as one. It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number directly.

Your account & consent

Connections in Kit require the consent of both people. The person being cared for can pause sharing at any time, and the family cannot override that choice.

Plans & billing

Kit offers a Free plan and a Family plan. You can cancel anytime and keep Family features until the end of your billing period. We give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and offer a refund within 14 days if a paid plan hasn’t been substantially used. Billing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

Your loved one is always free

The account of the person being cared for is included with every plan, free forever. They are never shown a price and never asked to pay.

AI features

Kit’s assistants are informational only. They are grounded in your activity data, never provide medical advice, and will steer urgent situations toward real emergency services.

Acceptable use

Use Kit only to support someone with their knowledge and consent. Don’t misuse the service or attempt to access data that isn’t yours.

Your data on termination

Your information is soft-deleted by default and fully erased when you close your account.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms and will note the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
