Placeholder. This page summarises the privacy commitments built into Kit. A final, legally-reviewed policy will replace it before launch.

Who we are

Kit helps families stay close to an aging loved one from a distance. Kit is not a medical device and not an emergency service — it does not diagnose, treat, or respond to emergencies. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number.

Consent & sharing you can pause

Sharing in Kit is always consensual. The person being cared for can pause sharing at any time, and the family can never override that choice. When sharing is paused, the family simply sees that their loved one is taking some quiet time.

Never made to feel watched

Insights, summaries, and any sense of a “normal routine” are shown only to the family. The person being cared for is never shown them and is never made to feel monitored.

Plain language, not raw data

Families see plain-language reassurance such as “home most of the day”. Kit does not show raw locations, maps, or precise timestamps.

What we collect, and why

To provide everyday reassurance, Kit records check-ins, gentle signs of life (stored as an irreversible fingerprint of the home network, never the raw network), care-journal notes, and basic account details. Kit does not connect to third-party health platforms.

How long we keep it

Activity history follows your plan: 7 days on the Free plan and unlimited on the Family plan. You can export or delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct, and erase your data. Information is soft-deleted by default and fully erased when you close your account.

Security & contact
